A court date has now been set for Eminem's mother's $10,000,000 lawsuit against him.
Eminem, known to his mother as Marshall Mathers will be appearing at Macomb
County Courthouse outside Detroit on 13 September.
Deborah Mathers-Briggs is suing her son son because she claims his lyrics have damaged
her reputation as a mother. Lines like: "I just found out my mom smokes more dope than I do,"
from My Name Is. Eminem claims his mother is profiting from his name by
charging visitors to have a look around his original trailer park home.
Eminem is currently on bail following incidents earlier this month, they occurred over
a weekend and resulted in him being slapped with weapons charges and aggravated assault.
Eminem is currently at the top of the US charts with The Marshall Mathers LP and
is tipped to knock Kylie Minogue off the top of the UK singles chart this Sunday
(2 July) with The Real Slim Shady.
