A DJ on Birmingam's BRMB radio station walked out of a live show on Friday (13 April)
refusing to play Eminem's Stan.
Graham Mack had a row, live on the station, with the programme controller Adam
Bridge. Graham Mack said, "I decided not to play Eminem. The guy has been
convicted of carrying a concealed weapon." Adam Bridge replied saying, "I don't
pay you for opinions, I pay you to play what I tell you to play. Just play the bloody song."
But Graham Mack refused saying, "If you want Eminem played this morning you better
come down here and play it yourself."
A spokesman for the Birmingham radio station said that the programme would soon be back
on air but admitted that Graham Mack's criticism of BRMB was embarrassing.
