Radiohead's Thom Yorke has described British Prime Minister Tony Blair
as being a fool and betraying the country.
He said, to the Daily Record, "I think he couldn't help betraying this country. I
think the man's a fool."
Yorke said that Radiohead's You And Whose Army is about someone who is elected into
power and then betrays the people "just like Blair did". The track features on the new album
from the band, Amnesiac which is released on 4 June.
Radiohead have also announced that they will be holding a series of listening parties
for the public to preview the new album. The dates for the free listening parties are:
