Feed My Soul, the debut album from Darkflower, Melanie Williams and Joe Roberts. The duo wrote, performed and co-produced this album. The other producer was Steve Sidylnek who has worked with Madonna.
Eleven tracks recorded in Darkflower's loft studio in Manchester. A diverse album, 70s music being a major influence with the duo wanting a "contemporary feel".
They've both got great voices which add to the atmosphere of the album.
Jimi Goodwin (Doves' frontman) adds his songwriting and bass-playing skills to Not Enough - one of the standout tracks. Others including the opener One Religion, Gotta Flow and Love Will Bring Us Back Together.
