Rolling Stones' drummer, Charlie Watts has said that the band will be touring in 2002.
He told The Evening Standard, "I think we'll have to [tour]...or else it's going to get too far away, with our ages as they are."
He says that he didn't know that they would be touring next year when he agreed to play with his jazz group, the Charlie Watts Tentet at Ronnie Scott's club in London on Monday (4 June) for thirteen straight nights.
When asked if he expected any of the Rolling Stones to check out his jazz project he replied, "I don't know, but they'll all be in London. I might leave their names on the door."
