Joe Strummer and The Mescaleros will be releasing Global A Go Go on 24 July and have announced a six-date tour.

The album is the second from the band, following Rock Art and the X-Ray Style which was released in 1999.

Joe Strummer says, "The main thing is this is a team effort from start to finish. Our enjoyment was strong when we made this record. A team is always strong, that's what I've learnt."

Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros are Joe Strummer, Pablo Cook, Martin Slattery, Scott Shields, Tymon Dogg and associate member/engineer Richard Flack.
