Liam Gallagher has allegedly attacked a photographer outside the hospital where Nicole Appleton gave birth to his son, yesterday (2 July).
John Lillington was left with a small bleeding gash on his nose after the Oasis frontman allegedly pushed a camera into his face outside the hospital in central London. He showed the run-up to the attack to television crews gathered around the Portland Hospital in London.
The incident happened in the Masons Arms pub across the road from the hospital. Lillington was allegedly attacked as he attempted to take a close-up photo of Liam. He said, "He looked manic as I took the picture and he lashed out at me. I don't see why he should get away with it."
He has made a statement to his local police station and will go to Marylebone police station tomorrow.
Liam was present at the birth of Gene Appleton Gallagher yesterday. He wet the baby's head with Guinness at the Masons Arms pub.
This is not to be confused with an incident in New York where the star allegedly headbutted a US photographer (Liam Gallagher 'Headbutted Photographer' - 13 June 2001).
