Super Furry Animals have announced details of a UK tour. Following the success of their Furrymania weekends last month (June 2001) the band will undertake their first full UK tour for nearly two years in September and October.

The dates are:

• 27 September - Folkestone Leas Cliff Hall
• 28 September - Bristol Colston Hall
• 30 September - Birmingham Academy
• 1 October - Nottingham Rock City
• 2 October - London Brixton Academy
• 5 October - Aberdeen Music Hall
• 6 October - Edinburgh Corn Exchange
• 7 October - Leeds University
• 9 October - Liverpool Royal Court
• 10 October - Norwich UEA
• 11 October - Cambridge Corn Exchange
• 12 October - Cardiff CIA

Tickets, priced between £14 and £16.50, will go on sale next Monday (16 July).

Super Furry Animals will release their fifth studio album on 23 July. Rings Around The World will be released simultaneously on DVD - a 'first' for the music industry. The first single taken from it, Juxtapozed With U was released on 9 July.
