George Harrison has denied reports that he is expecting to die soon.
Ananova reports that he and his wife Olivia were "disappointed and disgusted" by reports saying that he close to death. A statement says, "The reports were unsubstantiated, untrue, insensitive and uncalled for, especially as Mr Harrison is active and feeling very well in spite of the health challenges he has had this year."
Music Goes On reported, earlier today, that the ex-Beatle was losing his battle against cancer. The Sun newspaper quoted George's former producer and friend Sir George Martin as saying, "George has an indomitable spirit but he knows he is going to die soon and he is accepting that. He is very philosophical. He has been near death many times and he's been rescued many times as well."
Earlier this year the 58-year old underwent treatment for lung cancer and a brain tumour. In 1998 he beat throat cancer and survived a knife attack the following year.
