Eminem has arrived in Australia ahead of his concerts in Melbourne and Sydney.
news.com.au reports that the rapper was met by fans and a large number of journalists but no protesters when he landed at Melbourne Airport.
Michael Gudinski is the promoter who lured the American star to the country. He does not allow his thirteen-year-old daughter to see the star live.
He said that the controversy surrounding Eminem's arrival this morning had been blown out of proportion. He told Channel 9, "If you don't want to go to the show, don't go. It's as simple as that."
Continuing, "I think the controversy seems to precede him, not go with him. I mean, he's toured all over Europe and has toured in America and Canada and there has been very little drama, so I'm hoping the whole thing has been blown out of proportion."
Eminem will be performing at Melbourne Rod Laver Arena on Thursday (26 July) and at Sydney Superdrome on Friday (27 July).
