 It was just over twenty-five years ago that the original Combine Harvester (Brand New Key) shot to Number One in the UK singles charts. The Wurzels are now releasing a remix of the hit.
The idea for this remix came from the huge demand for last year's Finest 'Arvest compilation.
This remix is supposed to have the "hallmarks of a modern summer anthem" but doesn't really. However, it is for charity - EMI are donating fifty pence from every copy sold to the National Farmers Union's Supporting Farmers In Crisis fund.
Thankfully, the CD single does include the 1976 original.
