All 12,000 tickets for Oasis' tenth anniversary tour sold out in just one hour today.
Today marks the tenth anniversary of the band's first ever gig which took place at Manchester's
Boardwalk back in 1991. Since then they have played a total of 465 shows all over the world.
Ananova reports that tickets that were allocated for sale on the band's official web site (www.oasisinet.com) sold out in just four minutes. Fans started queuing yesterday at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire to ensure they got their tickets. In Glasgow, fans arriving early were allowed to sleep at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre, staff gave out numbered wrist-bands so that fans could join the queue at their original place. Outside Manchester's Apollo the queue was half a mile long.
