Forty-five fans had to receive medical treatment after they were crushed at a concert featuring Eminem.
Ananova reports that they were crushed twenty minutes after the rapper came on stage at Glasgow's Gig On The Green festival. Before he appeared on stage announcements had been made by organisers asking people to stop moving forward.
The show was stopped while police and stewards helped fans caught up in the crush.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said that the forty-five fans were treated for minor injuries. Five were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary and two to the city's Victoria Infirmary for observation.
A police spokesman praised the Detroit rapper and his band D12 for helping to ease the situation as they asked fans to stop moving forward. He said: "Eminem and his band did all they could to help the situation and we are grateful for his support."
Earlier in the day protestors were handing out leaflets to people as they made their way to the festival. The protestors are opposed to the anti-Christian message being delivered in Marilyn Manson - who also performed at the festival - and Eminem's shows.
