Stereophonics' next single will be a cover of Rod Stewart's Handbags And Gladrags. It will be released through V2 on 26 November.
The track was made famous by Rod Stewart on his 1970 debut solo album An Old Raincoat Won't Ever Let You Down. Jools Holland And His Rhythm And Blues Orchestra recorded the track with the Stereophonics earlier this year.
The track does not appear on the band's current album Just Enough Education To Perform. It is the first time the band have released a cover as a single although previous B-sides have included versions of the Rolling Stones' Angie, the Beatles' I'm Only Sleeping and Nirvana's Something In The Way.
