Shaggy's It Wasn't Me is set for Number One this week in the UK singles chart. It
has sold four times as many copies as the 'current' (based on Monday's sales) number two,
Atomic Kitten's Whole Again. Shaggy has sold 81,000 copies while
Atomic Kitten have sold 21,000.
The Manic Street Preachers' two singles, So Why So Sad and Found That Soul
are likely to enter at numbers three and four respectively, they have each sold just over 13,000
copies.
Thirteen year old Kaci's Paradise has sold just under 6,000 copies and is likely to
enter the chart at number thirteen. Other new entries will include Divine Comedy's
Love What You Do (3,500 copies; number 19) and PJ Harvey's A Place Called
Home (1,500 copies; number 35).
